Privacy policy

How we handle your personal and health information, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated: 30 August 2026

Who we are

This website is operated by Clear Vision Eye Hospital Ltd, registered at 22/A Dungarshi Nagar Society, near Anjali BRTS stop, Chandranagar Road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380007, India. For any privacy question, contact us at pc@cveh.co.in or +91 79000 03736.

Information we collect

Through this website, we collect only what you choose to give us:

  • Contact details — your name, mobile number and, if you provide it, your email address
  • Appointment details — the branch, service and date you select
  • Anything you write in the free-text message field

In the course of providing treatment, the hospital separately collects clinical information — examination findings, diagnoses, prescriptions, imaging and surgical records. That information is held in the hospital's medical record system, not on this website.

How we use it

  • To contact you about the appointment or enquiry you submitted
  • To schedule, confirm and remind you about appointments
  • To answer clinical and administrative questions you have asked
  • To process insurance pre-authorisation, where you ask us to
  • To meet legal, regulatory and medical record-keeping obligations

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is necessary, and only with:

  • Your insurer or TPA, when you ask us to process a cashless or reimbursement claim
  • Referring or treating doctors, where continuity of care requires it
  • Service providers who host our systems or send appointment messages on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations
  • Authorities, where disclosure is required by law or court order

WhatsApp and telephone

If you contact us on WhatsApp, or if the appointment form opens WhatsApp to send your enquiry, that message is delivered through WhatsApp's own service and is subject to their privacy terms as well as ours. Please do not send sensitive clinical documents or identification over WhatsApp unless we have asked you to.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are retained for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the contact. Medical records are retained for the periods required under applicable Indian medical record-keeping regulations.

Security

We apply administrative, physical and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of health information, including restricted access on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses only what is necessary for the pages to function. If analytics or embedded third-party content is added in future, this policy will be updated to say what is collected and how you can opt out.

Your rights

You may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Delete information we no longer have a legal or clinical reason to keep
  • Stop sending you non-essential messages

Write to pc@cveh.co.in. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, particularly where health information is involved.

Children

Where a patient is a minor, appointment and clinical information is handled with the parent or legal guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
